Shopping in Bollnas

We had another busy day today. Our morning was again normal ... waking up around 8am but actually getting out of bed around 9am. Linnea needed a bath today so that took a little longer getting ready. The kids went outside with Fredrik to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow. This was something he learned to do while growing up and so he wanted to pass it on to the kids. I was getting ready so I wasn't really paying attention but it sounded like the kids had fun. Then we had lunch before we headed out for the day.

We were invited to dinner at Farmor's house at 5pm but we wanted to do some shopping in Bollnas first. The main goal was to buy a TV and there was a good store there. It was also right next to two other stores that I wanted to visit. It turns out that any time we want to just "look" and see what they have ... we come home with a carload of stuff!

We stopped at a place called Jysk that sells all sorts of things like bed linens, towels, furniture, etc. My goal was to buy some blinds for Linnea's room so she can sleep in her own room. I found some that we hope will be okay. There wasn't much selection in the size we needed. We also bought some for our room too since the ones we have are broken. We also looked at outdoor furniture, bought some random things like a laundry bin, hangers, shoe rack, scissors, etc.

Next up was the electronics store and we took a long time deciding but eventually picked a small TV (40" ... now isn't that funny that everything else here is in metric but the TV measurements??) that was on sale. We figured we don't want to spend too much on it if we are going to rent it out. While Fredrik pays and figures out if it will fit in the car (it does but just barely), the kids and I head to another store call Rusta which is like another Target for me. We buy some soap for the shower, candles, outdoor water guns, etc. We also look at outdoor tables and BBQs again but don't find anything we love.

After a full afternoon of shopping it was time to head to dinner at Farmor's. We took a bunch of photos which I will post tomorrow along with how dinner went.
