Sensaria Home Office Visit

I got a chance to visit the Sensaria home office today in Shelton, WA. It was a long drive but I took the ferry too so that helped somewhat. I napped on the way home!

Anyway, it was fun and I learned a lot about the company and how stuff is made. The place was smaller than I imagined but it is a lot bigger than when they first started and they are also working on building new facilities too. Everyone was very warm and friendly and my tour guide was the CEO of the company who was just a great guy! He even took me "shopping" on the production line with a huge assortment of products. He was very generous since I was the only one who showed up from my team AND I came from so far away in such miserable weather.

I didn't think it was all that bad but it was raining a lot and you just have to take it a bit slower than maybe you would normally. I was just glad to have missed all the Seattle/Tacoma traffic that would have been present if I went the long way around. I also caught up on my training CDs so it made it very productive!

It made me glad to work for a company that enjoys what they do and are dedicated to making all of us succeed as well.
