The rest of Monday - Furniture store!

Anyway, the rest of our day didn't quite go as planned but that is okay too. Farmor and Liv left to go to the grocery store and prepare the cabin for the family arrival. We decide to head back to the furniture store that was closed yesterday. It is this fairly big store in the middle of nowhere really. You think you are going the wrong way as you drive through a little residential area and then turn down a gravel road to get there. It was actually quite a bit bigger that what I was expecting for this area!

We bought a few things like a new light for our kitchen dining area. Only now that it is up, it isn't quite centered over the table. We also bought some door mats, lightbulbs and little reading lights for the kids.

We also looked for other things we might want to get later like an outdoor table and chairs, shoe storage and other things. We didn't want to spend too much money right now so we just looked and the kids had some fun. They want to go back again!

They also wanted these chairs but there was no price so we passed for now. 

After the furniture store, we ate an early dinner at a Kebab place in Ljusdal. It was really good and Linnea ate a lot but Davin wasn't impressed. Typical. He just had french fries for dinner. Then we went to a German grocery chain called Lidl which is also in Ljusdal. We decided to try a different place to see if they offered different items. We did find peanut butter so that will help us pack a protein for Davin when he gets picky or can't eat anything.

Then we went home as the family wasn't going to arrive until later tonight. It wasn't until 7:15pm when they called and said they were at the cabin. It was getting late for us so we just decided to call it a day. Fredrik decided to teach the kids how to shoot a BB gun. That was a bit scary but fun for the kids. I sat on our deck in my new lounge chair and drank a glass of red wine. With the sun shining, it was very pleasant to sit ... I almost fell asleep too! Most of the day was rain but warmer than the previous days. It was nice to sit in the sun for a bit!
