Jarvzoo & Tooth Fairy

So, today was the day we planned to visit Jarvzoo which is a small zoo located right here in town. It is fairly unique in that it only features animals that live in Sweden. It is also a bit of a nature walk since you walk through the forest on these wooden paths and view the animals in their natural habitats. I am not in the mood to go through our 300 photos that we took of all the animals but I will post them soon. We saw a lot of animals and if you go early then you can see them feed the animals (which helps make sure you see most animals).
Do you spot something missing?

We didn't get there as early as we hoped but the weather wasn't working in our favor. It was quite rainy when we woke up and the weather didn't really improve much as we were getting ready for the day. The temperature was good (20C or 68F) but it was really humid. Farmor arrived around 9am in the morning and we decided to wait a little to see if the rain would stop or if we would do something else. Maj & Ingvar also wanted to join us along with Carro & Sebastian too who were on vacation this week. We called them and they looked at the weather report and it said it was going to stop raining around noon. So, we decided to go anyway and bring some rain gear.

It was still raining a little when we got there but it looked promising. We decided to watch the wolves from the inside panoramic windows as they were to be fed at noon. We were there a bit early so we headed downstairs to the educational area and by the time we headed back upstairs, the sun was out! It was a very fun day and lots and lots of walking so the kids were pretty tired.

About half way through the zoo, we stopped to eat lunch and the first bite that Linnea took of her hotdog ... her tooth came out! It got stuck right in the hotdog so I wrapped it up in a napkin so we could take it home later. She was so excited to see what the Swedish tooth fairy would bring her. Here are some photos from the next morning when she got to open up her tooth fairy box. We didn't bring much from home but the plastic treasure chest to keep the tooth in.
New tooth fairy box that holds 10 SEK (about 1 dollar) and the treasure box from her first tooth that she lost at school.
To celebrate, we had American pancakes served Swedish style. Oh so delicious!
I don't think I can go back to syrup again!
Blueberry and Raspberry jam that tastes like homemade with fresh whipped cream.
Here are Fredrik's pancakes. Linnea had hers without the jam but with sprinkles and whipped cream.
I didn't get a photo because she ate them so fast!
