Seaside Day 5 - Tillamook

We decided to spend the day at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. It is about an hour drive from our condo. We had lunch, did some shopping, did the tour and had some ice cream. I bought a scarf since it has been so cold and Fredrik bought a "Man Cave" sign. Oh and we bought some cheese too. More to come since this was just part of our day!
On the way down to Tillamook, we stopped at a viewpoint.
Linnea wanted to take photos on this trip. They were interesting!
Linnea took a lot of photos and these were our silly faces.
After lunch, Linnea the cow made an appearance.

Lots of cheese! Linnea took this photo of the big blocks of cheese (called fourties because they weight about 40 lbs) and they are on their way to be aged.
Another Linnea photo of the assembly line. The big blocks of cheese are cut into smaller blocks and then wrapped up and ready to be shipped all over the country.
Linnea took this photo of the vats they used to use to make cheese. They still make smaller handcrafted cheeses in these vats.
After the tour, we went outside to eat our ice cream. It was quite cold even though the sun was out.
