Teriyaki Chicken Marinade Recipe

I meant to post this recipe with the previous blog post so here goes! You can use it for other meats too but we have only used it for chicken. I like how easy it is to make and the marinade is used for the sauce too. YUM!

1/3 c. vegetable oil
1 c. soy sauce
3 tbsp. lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
3 cloves of garlic (minced)
2 tbsp. ginger root (freshly grated)
2 tbsp. sherry (optional)

Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Using an oven safe pan, marinate 1 lb of meat for 2-8 hours in refrigerator.
Place it in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Baste with the marinate during cooking.
Serve with rice and steamed broccoli. Enjoy!!
